The Lutz Manganese Tree Spike is the ideal fertilizer for feeding
Maples, River Birches and other manganese deficient trees and shrubs and
are specially formulated to solve deficiency problems that most often
prevent good green-up and sound growth.
As high pH is often a factor in manganese deficiency, each
spike contains 16% elemental sulfur which lowers pH in the feeding
area, creating an environment that assists the plants’ uptake of the
manganese.
Once the spikes are installed in the root zone, special binders safely and uniformly release elements for up to twelve months.
